I wanted a place to actually tell you what I'm up to — not a press release, just the real update.

 

Lately that's meant chasing down family discoveries that somehow keep turning into scenes in my novels, digging up old photographs and historical research I can't stop staring at, and occasionally packing a bag for Italy when the trail leads there.

 

I'll fill you in on what a project looks like behind the scenes, let you know when I've got an appearance coming up, and give you first looks at new work before it goes anywhere else.
