My pathway to writing a great story

Good historical fiction demands more than imagination — it requires respect for the truth. Authenticity is of utmost importance to me.

Before writing a single chapter, I spend months researching archives, delving into local fact and folklore, and learning everything I can about the people and places who will become the main characters in my books.

The result is a novel filled with characters who feel genuine and relatable, settings so vividly described you feel as though you’ve been there, and emotions that linger long after the final page.
